Meet The Arrow Project Founders

Meet Dre Adams

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Dre overcame the challenges of growing up in a single-parent household, fueling his determination to achieve even greater heights. Driven by a deep sense of purpose, he defied the odds to become a first-generation student, currently pursuing a degree in counseling. As a devoted father, husband, and student, Dre’s commitment extends to those in need, as he serves as a mentor, guiding and empowering others. Drawing upon his counseling and mentoring skills, Dre aspires to assist individuals from diverse backgrounds and vulnerable groups, including veterans, single parents, and previously incarcerated individuals. The culminating manifestation of Dre’s purpose lies in the establishment of The Arrow Project, which marks not the end, but the beginning of an even more audacious dream.

Meet Lisa Adams

Since she was young, Lisa has confronted numerous challenges in her life. Together with her mother, she endured a period of homelessness, but their resilience and determination enabled them to overcome it. At a later stage, Lisa found herself in an abusive relationship, yet she managed to break free from it. Instead of perceiving these trials as obstacles, Lisa considers them as valuable lessons that have forged her to become resilient, a fighter, and to never give up no matter what. Currently, Lisa, a first-generation student, is dedicated to becoming a counselor with a heartfelt mission to support those who have endured similar circumstances. Through The Arrow Project, her aspiration is to empower single parents, individuals experiencing homelessness, and victims of domestic abuse, guiding them to thrive once more.
